Dan and Rachel's intro that night --

Dan: We also I ordered this book along with the Patti Smith book, "Just Kids." I ordered them at the same time... And Rachel read "Just Kids" in like 3 days.
Rachel: It was awesome
Dan: And I started "Life," and I finished it doing laundry this morning.
Rachel: So I actually haven't read this book
Dan: And it's totally my fault.
Rachel: I'm totally cheating, because he took all month.
Dan: You know, we're getting ready to get married and stuff.
Rachel: Yeah, excuses, excuses...
Dan: The funny thing is this song,.. this is a song about one sentence in the book... about how Keith didn't think he was friends with Mick anymore. That they had known each other so long, it had transcended friendship, they were just kind of brethren at this point. So this is called a musical row for Keith and Mick.

We've written & performed songs inspired by everything from "On The Origin of Species" to Dr. Seuss to Raymond Carver. There are BBCs popping up nationwide now. Bushwick Book Club Seattle started in 2010 & is run by Geoff Larson. Our nerdy dare-devilry knows no bounds. ... more
