He loves her, but she loves him, and he’s not even a he. He’s really a she, who’s just pretending to be to conceal her identity, but she falls for him who doesn’t know she’s a she and he’s attracted to her anyway. But he continues to pine for her who only declines him 'cause he’s really not supposed to be gay. Love is a rotten game to play. Just a lot of getting the most you can out of pain. A push and shove and you’re crying everyday. Because the one you love is not gonna love, you the one you love is not thinking of you You better hope Sebastian saves the day. Sebastian is the male equivalent of Viola, that’s all that’s to be said. He functions as someone for Olivia to have, because it’s only appropriate for her to love a man, though she fell for a woman, people don’t really talk about that. Anything to keep her mind off of the sadness and her pining for her dead brother and her dead dad. Love is a stupid game to play No one’s above every pathetic cliche Get a lot of what you like now it’s okay. Because the one that you love is not gonna love, you the one that you love is not thinking of you, the one you love looks the other way. Some have to be sad, life gives them something bad and they suck on the bone of it. Wallow in their misery, because they secretly enjoy their wretchedness. You got to be a sucker for suffering, whatever gets you off I guess. But there’s no virtue in pain for pain’s sake so why not make better use of the time you get. Love leaves you lonely and abused You win you lose some but mostly you lose. If life ain’t hard enough then sure love is something you could use. Because the one that you love is not gonna love, you the one that you love is not thinking of you, the one you love looks the other way.

We started in January 2009 playing songs written in response to Kurt Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions. We haven't stopped since. We've written & performed songs inspired by everything from "On The Origin of Species" to Dr. Seuss to Raymond Carver. There are BBCs popping up nationwide now. Bushwick Book Club Seattle started in 2010 & is run by Geoff Larson. Our nerdy dare-devilry knows no bounds. ... more
